This course examines the challenges of living in the world today while trying to create a future that is both sustainable and equitable.  Students will investigate a variety of current issues in the world and attempt to understand how we can meet the human needs of as many people as possible while repairing and protecting the natural environment.  We will search for a balance between addressing the complex issues which face Canada and an increasingly interdependent world that is rapidly changing.
