Neil McNeil - TDCAA Flag Football Champs

On Thursday October 4, Neil McNeil defeated CHAT to capture the TDCAA  Grade nine Flag Football crown. This year's excellent crop of grade nines was led by the student coaching team of Mitchell Nader, Tony Scarfone and their crew, under the expert supervision of  new staff member Mr. Ranson along with Mr. DiFlorio.

Neil McNeil HS annual Spirit Walk.

Staff and students take part in our annual fund raising event. We will walk - once again, to the boardwalk for an afternoon filled with great activities. The teachers will once again emerge victorious from the tug-of-war trenches. Gather pledges, pledge a student, come out and celebrate Neil spirit!
The funds raised go to support numerous extra-curriculum activities at the school ranging from athletics to arts and academic clubs and teams.

Neil McNeil Students Participate In The P.A.R.T.Y. Program

 

On Friday May 11, 2012, members of the lacrosse, senior and junior hockey teams and grade ten physical education students went to Sunnybrook Hospital to participate in the P.A.R.T.Y. Program. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth)

 

The P.A.R.T.Y program is an award winning interactive educational day that takes place at Sunnybrook hospital and demonstrates to youth the possible consequences of risk taking behaviour in a very real and vivid setting.

Junior Basketball Team Victorious

Neil's Junior basketball team capped off an exciting season by becoming TDCAA B Champions with a thrilling come-from-behind overtime victory against Archbishop Romero CSS. The boys displayed some true heart by capturing several exciting victories in the TDCAA playoffs. A semi-final three point shot at the buzzer set the stage for the Feb. 16 final at Seneca College.  Angelo Sundararajah led the way with an impressive 33-point performance.

Congratulations to the team and to coaches O’Keefe and Cioffi for all of their hard work this season.
