Gr. 9 Orientation Weekend 2010
On Friday September 10 to Sunday September 12, Neil McNeil hosted its annual orientation at Camp Muskoka Woods in Rosseau Ontario. This event was hugely successful and fun was had by all attended. From the zip line to King’s Gold, Mr. Thomas falling head first in mud to the first (and last) edition of Neil McNeil’s best Teacher Dance Crew and from the meaningful interaction between little brothers, big brothers and caring adults to an awe-inspiring commissioning that welcomed our grade 9s into the brotherhood … it was a weekend not soon to be forgotten.
Thank you to all the Big Brothers who worked tirelessly both in the lead-up and during camp to create a meaningful camp experience for their Little Brothers. The camp would not be possible without your efforts.
Also, a special thank you goes out to all the staff members who joined us up at camp this year. What a fantastic group of people! Your efforts and commitment are truly appreciated! Special mention goes out to Mr. Fiorino for ordering the t-shirts, and Fr. Obinna for an inspiring liturgy on Saturday night.
Finally, a huge thank you to the organizing committee consisting of Mr. Kovacs, Mr. Morale, Ms. Buckley, Mr. Colangelo, Ms. Zeltins, Ms. Masterson, Mr. DiFlorio and Mr. Milne for all of your efforts in pulling this experience together over the past 6 months!
Remember gentlemen. “All men were created equal and then … some become brothers.”
