This month, Neil McNeil HS teamed up with Michael Power - St. Joseph High School to host the 2010 OFSAA Cross Country Championship in Toronto. This huge undertaking saw thousands of athletes from hundreds of schools compete for top provincial honours. The Neil crew of Mr. Baigent, Mr. Masterson, and Ms. Masterson, put forth an incredible amount of effort to ensure this event was a great success. Many Neil McNeil students and staff members came out to volunteer for the cause.

The Neil boys capped of a very impressive cross country season. Below are some of the highlights:

Midget Boys Team consisting of Anthony Jeyakanathan, Zen MacLellan, Deshante Hussett, Anderson Dias, and Justin Massa placed 20th in the province.

Junior Boys Team consisting of Oskar Andersen, Quinton Kohl, Kyle England, Nick Owens, and Aron Costa placed 29th in the province.

Senior Boys Team consisting of Andrew Costello, Joel Perera Satgunem, Brendan Meiring, Ryan Ramirez, and Mark Illes placed 10th in the province.

Individually Anthony Jeyakanathan, Zen MacLellan, Oskar Andersen, Andrew Costello, and Joel Perera Satgunem achieved top 100 finishes.
